16x8 +12 is very nice, match those with 205/45/16 tires and you have a nice setup. Maybe add 5mm rear spacers to even it out a bit, but you will need a fender roll.
16x8 seems to be the consensus from everyone I talk to, but +12 all around?

To get rid of the 5mm spacer, could I not just go +0 in the rears and roll a little more?

Need help. Put new Ronal LS 7.5 x 15 wheels with Falken ZIEX 912 225/50x15 tires on my 90 325is (stock suspension with 15 mm drophats) and the front wheels and tires are rubbing. Left wheel is just slightly rubbing on strut but right wheel is clear by about 1/8". It appears inside wheel hubs are scraping against brake calipers.

I don't have any experience with spacers. Can I put spacers in the front to solve this problem? If so what size? Are there specific requirements for inside and outside diameter? I bought some 5 mm spacers at a local parts store with 77 mm id and 144 mm od. Will these work?

Helo guys, I know that probably this Question has been made before but cant find it, I have 325e 88' with factory botlecaps, it comes with 195/65 14, but where I live that tire is allmost discontinued, there are very few of them and very expensive. Which tire can I change that is more common, the car is for daily drive, I have been thinking in 185/65 14, any coments would be welcome, thanks.

I've got a lowered 318is with 3mm spacers in the front.... Wondering if I will be able to fit 17x7 sacchi s45 rims... with I believe 40mm offset.
          Any input on those rims?

I am looking for a recommendation on spacer size, i would like a little poke on factory suspension without rolling.

tires will be 205 50 16 (from what i read on your above posts)

            Wheels are 16x7 40mm offset

                Hey Mystikal,
What size spacers should I get?

                Ronal Turbo - 15x7 -ET37
                Yoko Sdrive - 205/55/15

I was thinking 15mm square to bring it to ET22.
                What would you recommend?
                Appreciate.

okay, i'm a dummy when it comes to offsets and what not. so I'm looking at running these wheels(http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...ld&pc=52267087) on a 325i. what offset or wheel spacers will i need to get flush?

                  Comment

Looking at running 17x8.5" ET 25 front and rear with equal size tires. Hoping to run a 215/40-17. 1990 325is.

Will this setup clear in the front, both inside and on the fender lip?

What size spacers in the rear would give me nice flush (not looking for big poke) fitment.

My fenders are rolled (NOT pulled) and I am slammed on coilovers with camber plates in the front.

For reference, I am NOT looking for the POKE found with a 16x9 in ET15, the rears look great, but the front just looks silly IMHO.

haha, my turn. Just bought a e39 2000 528i touring. Previous owner installed american racing wheels on it and I just dont like it. I have a set of E38 weaves off an 740i, I know I would have to open up the bore to 74.1 but other than that they should fit, correct ? Im wanting to install 245/50/16's on them. Car currently has 235/45/17's which are only about 1/2 wider than 50/16's. Will I have to space since the offset is 23 on the 16's and 20 stock ? THANKS

                        I want to fit 225/45 on a 16x8.5 et19

                        Suspension: e30 m3 5lug
                        H&R sports/Bilstein
                        E90 drop hats
                        25/22 sways

I know I will need spacers in the front (wheels are 5mm max from the struts)
If I want as much poke in the back should I use 10 or 15 mm spacers in the
                        back?

                        Thanks

It will be too much for unrolled fenders. Even with a flat roll, it will be close.

                            Yup.

The 45mm spare studs I have are too long (rubbing wheel hub innards). So, since I have the longer ones, what size spacer would I need to get an offset equivalent to like 25?
5mm would make them 25 offset, but that's probably not enough spacing to fix your wheel hub issue. I can never recall stud lengths, no idea why. I won't be much help here.

I would be running a 215/45/16 as well. I don't mind a flat roll on the fenders, but would like to stay away from pulling them. I would like fitment close to this:

He is running 16x8s with +5 in the front, +3 in the rear and a 205/45/16.

Also, any recommendations for a 215/45/16 tire?

                                Thanks!
5mm front spacer to clear the struts, 10mm rear to even out the fitment. Kumho XS is an amazing tire, but wet traction and treadwear aren't exactly their strong suit. Not sure what else is in that size, Falken FK-452? Decent tire.
