20mm worked great. Had minor rubbing in the back in hard cornering, but a fender roll fixed it. All good to go!

FYI: Bilstein, HR Race, Drop hats, M3 offset CABS, and ST sway bars. 205/50/15

      e30m3 5 lug swap on my 89 325is

16x8 et23 front with GC camber plates
16x8.5 et13 rear with AKG raised subframe bushings

Planning on 12mm front spacers (max my vorschlag studs will allow)

I'm looking for a very low, flush fitment. I own a fender roller. I'm having trouble finding tires... I'm thinking maybe 215 45 16 fronts and 225 45 16 rears, but it seems I'll have to get two different brands. Any suggestions?

edit: I looked a bit more and now I'm leaning towards 205/50 and 215/50 dunlop direzza dz101's

I have considered a 5-lug swap, or an adapter... but neither of these options seem promising as they'll both leave me with a totally wrong offset.
BTW- i may have fucked up measuring the offset, but I really doubt it. I have bead to bead measuring 8.5". Bead to hub mating face from backside of wheel: 5". So the center is at 4.25", meaning .75in x 25.4mm/in=19.04 or et20ish. am I fubar or what?
        thanks so much in advance.

and if they won't fit my car with help, are they made for e30 M3 or maybe e28? wtf are these for?
I've had two versions of that wheel in the past, but both were high-offset E36 versions (16x7.5 and 17x7.5). Those would be great for use with adapters, but if your measurements are roughly correct they would be too aggressive. AT Italia did make low-offset versions for the 5s and 7s, and it's likely that's what you have.

          Car: '87 325is. H&R Race & Bilstein Sport Springs. Offset M3 CABs.

Looking at TireRack C1 15x8" with Hankook RS-3s in 225/45/15.

From what I've gathered, these are pretty much a direct bolt-on since my car has the higher rear arches. No spacers/fender mods necessary, correct?

          Thanks!
Yup, they should just clear the high arch cars without fender rolling. No promises with a full load or just the right series of road undulations though, you might have to do a slight roll.

Trying to see if I could possibly fit 17x8's et18 with a tad bit of poke.
They will sit about flush at that setup.

You tire sizes are too large to be flush (or work with the setup in general) unless you flare the fenders VERY aggressively. As it is you'll need a flat fender roll in the rear.

I'd personally go with either 205/45 or 215/45 all around, as it's impossible to find tires other than the mediocre (and downright scary in wet) DZ101s in those staggered sizes.

So 16x9 ET10 with a 215/45/16 would fit fine with a flat roll and camber plates?

Will stiff rear springs and an absolutely flat fender lip, yes. I wouldn't rule out a slight pull being required with spring rates less than 600lb/in.

205/40/17. It's slightly undersized, which will help with fender clearance. You'll have to go very low to pull this setup off.

Change the front to 205/50/16 to match the diameter of the rears. You'll be rolling the rear arches to a slight "pull" to get that setup to work.
