e30m3 5 lug swap on my 89 325is
16x8 et23 front with GC camber plates
16x8.5 et13 rear with AKG raised subframe bushings
Planning on 12mm front spacers (max my vorschlag studs will allow)
I'm looking for a very low, flush fitment. I own a fender roller. I'm having trouble finding tires... I'm thinking maybe 215 45 16 fronts and 225 45 16 rears, but it seems I'll have to get two different brands. Any suggestions?
edit: I looked a bit more and now I'm leaning towards 205/50 and 215/50 dunlop direzza dz101'sLast edited by lifeiskaos; 02-15-2011, 08:04 AM.Comment

I've got a set of M-Contour replicas (made in italy, by at italia i think), they're 17x7.5 et15 and 17x8.5 et20. bolt pattern is 5x120. is there any possible way to fit these to my 91 325i vert? I have considered a 5-lug swap, or an adapter... but neither of these options seem promising as they'll both leave me with a totally wrong offset.
BTW- i may have fucked up measuring the offset, but I really doubt it. I have bead to bead measuring 8.5". Bead to hub mating face from backside of wheel: 5". So the center is at 4.25", meaning .75in x 25.4mm/in=19.04 or et20ish. am I fubar or what?
thanks so much in advance.
and if they won't fit my car with help, are they made for e30 M3 or maybe e28? wtf are these for?Comment

Alright... my turn. First time buying a set of wheels for any car I've owned. I've tried to do my research... pretty sure I'm good to go but just wanted to check in here to make sure. Apologies in advance if this is already a popular combo.
Car: '87 325is. H&R Race & Bilstein Sport Springs. Offset M3 CABs.
Looking at TireRack C1 15x8" with Hankook RS-3s in 225/45/15.
From what I've gathered, these are pretty much a direct bolt-on since my car has the higher rear arches. No spacers/fender mods necessary, correct?
Thanks!Comment

I'd personally go with either 205/45 or 215/45 all around, as it's impossible to find tires other than the mediocre (and downright scary in wet) DZ101s in those staggered sizes.Comment

So 16x9 ET10 with a 215/45/16 would fit fine with a flat roll and camber plates? Are Three Vee
