I'm a noob to tire fitment. How much of a problem would the scrubbing be if I was doing auto-x? I mean I'd be using a lot of steering lock and what not.
I guess my other option is to run Kumho Ecsta XS's or Falken Azenis RT-615k's since they're available in 215 45 r16.

As for tires Im thinking 205/50/15, ive run this size on 15x8's with a hair of stretch so this should look normal. I do have rolled fenders and theres a good chance im gonna wanna run spacers to get sortaflush, i was thinking 10's or 15's, thoughts?

Can I put 225 width tires on the back and 215 on the front?
What about sidewall? Should I get the smallest sidewall possible or the thickest?
How about 40 or 50 for the sidewall?
Car is just used as a daily driver for now.
You also want to keep the tires as close to 24" as possible. 215/50 225/50.

I want to run sum Schmidt Space line wheels.. I was thinking of getting 17x7.5 et 35 up front and 17x8.5 et 25 in the rear. Well this fit without issues or do I need a spacer up front. My fenders are rolled slightly. I was thinking 215/40 up front and 235/40 on the rear..
I currently have 10mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers in the rear with my current set-up 17x7.5 all round with 215/40 schmidt CC line revolutions..
thanx!"Driving anything else would be uncivilised"

I have some 16x7 et25 XXR 522's waiting to be put on my car.
What would be the best tire size? 205/45/16? I know it says don't ask for specific brands or types of tires, but I'm no good with differentiating tires so it would be nice if someone could recommend some good tiresLast edited by Beastolizer; 03-01-2011, 06:10 PM.'91 Brilliantrot 318iS - Sold

16x8's et 20 with 10 or 20mm spacers (I'm going for as best fitment as possible)
KW 60/60 cup kit (in sig)
205/45 tires
No spacers up front, 10mm rear
Rolled rear fenders
For no rolling:
205/45 tires
No spacers up front, 5mm rear
Not a fan of 215/40 tires as they are very undersized. They exaggerate fender gap not only at the top, but increase the space fore/aft of the tire.
