I don't know the offset of the wheels nor the dimensions of the fender flares. But...no. Tires are way too tall for an E30 chassis.Comment

18"x9.5" +35 rear
So lets say I raise my spring perches about an inch to clear the taller tires I'm assuming Ill need at least a 20mm spacer for the front, and Ill have about 10-15mm of clearance between the wheel and the strut in the rear. Am I correct in my thinking here?Last edited by e30Rooster; 02-24-2012, 05:59 PM.sigpicComment

Will i need spacers to use 17x8 20 offset wheels? What tire size would work best? I plan to lower the car a little in the future.

Actually my question was kind of vague. I am looking at some 17x8 style 5 BBS for either my E30 Mtech2 or my E30 m3. The wheels I am looking at are I believe et20 hub bore 71?mm.
Will these fit the M3 without spacers? If I fill and redrill can I use them in my E30?I'm not a real car guy :(Comment

I'm 90% sure its been asked already but I can't seem to find it.
Looking to run 17x8 et20 style 5s with 18mm adapters.
will it rub?
What options do I have for tires?
I have a pair of 245/35 and 215/40
