Too tall of a tire for the front, could work in the rear only depending on wheel offset.

205/50 or 215/45 without fender rolling. 225/45 with a rear roll.

        Thanks for you're time
I don't know the offset of the wheels nor the dimensions of the fender flares. But...no. Tires are way too tall for an E30 chassis.

          17"x9" +20 front
          18"x9.5" +35 rear

So lets say I raise my spring perches about an inch to clear the taller tires I'm assuming Ill need at least a 20mm spacer for the front, and Ill have about 10-15mm of clearance between the wheel and the strut in the rear. Am I correct in my thinking here?

Will i need spacers to use 17x8 20 offset wheels? What tire size would work best? I plan to lower the car a little in the future.

              thanks

Actually my question was kind of vague. I am looking at some 17x8 style 5 BBS for either my E30 Mtech2 or my E30 m3. The wheels I am looking at are I believe et20 hub bore 71?mm.

Will these fit the M3 without spacers? If I fill and redrill can I use them in my E30?

I'm 90% sure its been asked already but I can't seem to find it.

Looking to run 17x8 et20 style 5s with 18mm adapters.
                    will it rub?
What options do I have for tires?

                    I have a pair of 245/35 and 215/40

I have been told you cannot run 245/35

You will have to ge tthe 215/35 double checked.

ok so i need some guidance please.
                          front - 16x9 et15 205/45
                          rear - 16x10 et0 225/40

I know I have to roll the fenders (no biggie) but will I have to pull them excessively?
I drive a 87is lowered on JOMs if it matters

On the front 15mm spacers are probably enough, but good luck clearing the wheel well, chassis seam at the top, and other parts. Rear, you'll be having clearance issues with the trailing arm. Massively tall, bubbly tires means that I have no idea how much spacing will be needed.

May rub depending on suspension height. Rear only.
