I was thinking about picking up a set of Gotti wheels. The sizes are as follows:

    16x9.5 +38 5x120

Of course I have to use some adapters but I was wondering even with adapters (maybe 25mm adapter for the rear and 20mm adapter for the front) will these wheels fit?

After the adapters I am thinking the offset will be changed to:

    Front: 16x9.5 +18 (with 20mm adapter)
    Rear: 16x9.5 +13 (with 25mm adapter)

    will it work???

Looking at getting ESM 002R wheels.

      ET20

On stock height I would think I am ok with 225/45/16. If I lower it later probably rear fender roll. What are some other tire setups I can get? How low of a drop can I go with 225/45/16 tire? Do I need camber when I do the drop?

I have JOM coils coming in soon. I basically want to poke out about the same as the red e30 coupe, or the last picture posted in MightyWhiteys first page.

I will be pming him about his offset if I can find his username. But from what I read, you want anything 20 ish and lower. This will be on my daily, so I do not want to compensate too much turning (I have no problem rolling fenders) and do not want to completely anniliate my wheel bearings.

Just looking for the boarder of safety and looks. What would you guys recommend running?
Tires are short. Very short. Load rating and ground clearance are seriously compromised right now.

That said, 20mm rear spacers are fine. You can use 15mm in the front for even fitment.

20mm spacers all around is best. 205/55.

You'll need a 33mm front adapter just to clear the struts. You can imagine how much poke there would be at that point.

225/45 works with a fender roll at almost any height. I'd suggest 215/45 or 205/50 though (so many more tires available and they don't require rolling).

So, I have a set of wheels with an offset of 35 (my stocks are et30). I have 5mm and 8mm spacers which would work I think.

The question is: should I put the 8mm at the front, or at the rear? Any help is appreciated.

What tire size would you recommend?

I thought the point of stretching was a smaller width, and lower aspect ratio so the tire is technically too small for the wheel. How would bumping up the tire size both in width and sidewall make things better?

Im not questioning wwhat your saying, I am just trying to understand how these things work haha.

Need to know the width and diameter of the wheels as well as tire size.

205/45 is the ideal E30 size for very low cars that need some semblance of ground clearance. With 205/40s once you bring the front down enough to get rid of fender gap you'll find your oil pan sits precariously low. Also the tire's load rating is really not enough for an E30.

16x9 square et13 on H&R springs, Bilstein shocks - would I need a small (~3mm) spacer to clear front struts, or able to roll as-is without em?

same question. I was gonna go for adapters from 8380. The thinnest ones they have is 18mm given.

I am on billie sports and HR springs. Are you saying if you are low on coils you would have to pull and roll? Or just in general you'd have to.

Id like to not have to do that. Ive done it before though, but id preffer to avoid it.

Is there a better fitment style 5 for this setup that will directly bolt on with no modding?

Im lowered on Vogtland springs and KYB struts/shocks, im planning on getting 16in rims, what would be a good tire size/profile to clean up the gap(what is left) as much as possible? Would i need to roll my rear fenders if i go 16in?

At what point do E30 folks start needing spacers to clear strut or brakes in the front? What offset? I'll probably go with the 215/45 tire.

You should just clear without spacers. Just.
