I just sent them an email. I dont think their site is fully setup, expecially for online commerce. We'll see if they write back.
Just put 80mm studs on (pics)

Ummm. obviously you don't understand completely what is the difference in original bolts and those studs...
Look closely the holes in brake dics, theyhave no thread. Therefore the the non threaded "stopper" portition goes thrue the dics and stops when the nonthreaded section hits the actual hub. That basicly means that inner threaded section on stud can be ~5 shorter compared the threaded section that comes through teh original rim.
Think it over, you'll get it.
EDIT:just try it, take rear wheel and brake dics off and put original bolt as long as you can and see if it spins.Last edited by Rocla; 03-13-2007, 01:15 PM.Current:

Ummmm, that has absolutely nothing to do with what I said. WITH the bottlecaps there is 1" or so on the backside of the wheel. That is what I said.
And I know exactly what these studs do. My whole point was I was concerened about how many threads are threading into the hub. I expected the hub to have more threads than 6-7 that is the only thing I didn't know.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

but half of that 1" has to go through the brake rotor before it even gets into the hub. just stop arguing about it because you are obviously wrong..Comment

Well, I'd say it is all about what you said.Look closely the holes in brake dics, theyhave no thread. Therefore the the non threaded "stopper" portition goes thrue the dics and stops when the nonthreaded section hits the actual hub. That basicly means that inner threaded section on stud can be ~5 shorter compared the threaded section that comes through teh original rim.
Stud inner thread lenght has very little to do with what you said.
Meaning that you can't figure out how long the base of stud should be by looking original bolt and rim.
The inner thread partition lenght has nothing to do with rim you use, It should be selected by the thickness of the hub, as said many times earlier on this topic.Current:

First post of common reason/sence since the original poster(well almost...). Geeze, all of the sudden I wish jordan was back....
All I really want to know, is if the lug studs are on a runway that is a huge belt that moves at the speed of light............................................. ....Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

That's because I was talking about the bolt not the stud. Two different things. You said that if the bolt was 1" long behind the bottlecap that the bolt would hit the e brake.....Well, I'd say it is all about what you said.

I don't see the big deal in clearing this up...unless it gets ugly.
And I've already admitted I didn't know there were only 6-7 threads in the hub...nullifying my worry...because theres nothing that could really be done about it. Want me to bend over as well.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Sweet Jesus, I didn't. Learn to read man, that part of the sentence has not even the word bolt.
This is turning into argue, and we know about arguing over the net.
I'll post pictures later, and they will not be about my penis.Current:

Then it was entirely pointless to even post that because it had nothing to do with what we where talking about.
And you are challenging me on something I said that you don't understand. Because what you posted was pointless. And now we are argueing about that. Are we done.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

OK, I just installed my studs, and cross threaded them, so I pulled out my drill, cleaned out the threads, and JB welded them in. Time to autocross!!!!!Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

That's more like it.
Ok, I started this fucking mess. Sorry, I should have gone out and looked at the threads first. I've added this to my "don't fucking do again list". I admitted wrong, can we be done.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
