He is worried about inner clearance though.
225/50/14 on caps or weaves?

Why are you going to run a staggered setup anyway? It cost more and handling is better with a neutral or equal stance.
The car is going to have a tendency to plow in the corners with this setup.Comment

What are you talking about?Ok well a 15x7 wheel with an offset of 20 will actually reach in 1.35mm more than the 14x6.5 weaves and 7.7mm more than the bottlecaps with a +25 offset.
The section width of your Kuhmo's are 9.1, and your average BFGoodrich tire is 9.2, so its not really any wider of a tire.
But thats ok, your right.
A 7" ET20 wheel has 4mm MORE room inside than a 6.5" ET30 (stock basketweave).
A 7" ET20 wheel has 3mm MORE room inside than a 6" ET35 wheel (stock bottlecap).
Both of these facts are useless because a 15" rim has approximately a 6mm gain in clearance due to the inclination of the strut.
So essentially, you have around 10mm MORE room inside than either of his options.
I hope we're all better people now.

wow this thread went to shit.
I put the tires on, they fit, barely.
I'm doing a staggered setup because the tires cost me $200, with 1 autox on them. That's about $600-$700 worth of tires. I'll take the plow and keep my wallet. I'll still be faster then I was on my Azenis.Comment
