Forgot to mention the are pretty much bald now... Looking to get a new set.

Worst TIRE EVER is a CHENG SUNG... got them for my endure once, road them for 15 miles and I didn't even want to give it away. rolled sidewall at 22mph..... GARBAGE. It was the only one they had in stock at the bike shop at the time and we were doing a scramble. Needless to say I stayed in camp and drank beer instead.

I've had pretty decent experience with my set falken 512. ~15k-20k miles on two diffrent cars with same set they still have life in them. They are good everyday tires, but they can make driving in triple digit speeds with any lateral load quite sketchy lol. all in all good price and performace for the everyday sub 70 mph driving.

        Triangle brand tires.

I bought a SVT Focus with a brand new set put on by the previous owner. After ~6000km the RH front and RH rear were worn to the belts on the inner edge and the LH rear had two seperate buldges in the side wall. The LH front looked perfect like any 6000km tire should. I thought for sure the car had worn out bushings, ball joints or bad alignment. When I put a new set of Falkens on, I had the local alignment shop do an inspection and alignment, they didn't find anything wrong with the car that would cause the tire wear. He said either very poor tire pressures or shitty tire construction.

I owned the car for 2 more years and 50000 + kms changing with the Falkens and winter wheels and tires and no issues.

Funny, I used to own an SVT Focus and at one point in a pinch, put Triangle tires on it. I had forgotten about those, far far far worse than the Kumho's I was griping about earlier.

For an "all season" tire you'd expect them to atleast do something in the snow (only drove once with them), nope. The only upside? They're silly cheap.
Which Falken's do you have? 912's? I was considering buying a set of those... I'm looking for a 225-width by 15-inch tire. My car won't be autocrossed, but I occasionally like to go around corners quickly. I was hoping to stick to stock diameter, which means a 225/50. Are they really that bad?

Unfortunately it seems like nobody else makes a reasonable 225/50/15 tire anymore.

I currently have a set of worn 512's on 14" weaves. They've been mediocre, but they're the tires that were on the car when I bought it.

Most of the tires mentioned here aren't truly shitty.

              Truly shitty tires:
              Triangle
              Ling Long
              iMove
              Wanli
              Goodride

THOSE are bad tires. Kumho 712s, Falken 512s, Nexens...these are all Michelin PSS's compared to the list above. Absolutely treacherous, not-really-legal Chinese tires are flooding the market. I see a new company name every few weeks at work, usually on replica wheels.

I think we ordered a set of Triangles in for a customer who wanted to cheap out. We sent them back and got them the next lowest priced tire, they were that bad. We had no interest in selling them to anyone.

                  The SHITTIEST tires ever...

I for one have to agree with OP, those tires lasted me 10k on the e46. Plies came loose of the tire. I was driving and kept hearing this "clank, clank, clank", ended up being the tire tread hitting the inner fender...

Are there any 195/65 14 tires in production that people like? I have a 1987 325is with stock wheels, and I'm looking for recommendations.
