Widening Remembers?

So I was thinking the other day- since remembers are direct replicas of BBS rs, would you be able to widen them with the same lips that you widen the rs with? I know it would kind of be like putting lipstick on a pig, but the remembers aren't that expensive and I heard that the kodiak lips are only like $600. Has anyone tried/know if this will work?

i know that they are a different bolt pattern. i think if it was that easy alot of people would do it

Oh, I thought they were exactly the same. Doesn't Kodiak make the lips to your specs though?

i dont know what the hype over remembers' is.

just buy rms or Rs's because really they cost about the same as remembers, and you get BBS wheels, not Konigs

Some people can't afford the real BBS wheels. So give it a rest.
