Cool, I just did mine today exept I just left the lip unpainted.

that makes no sence...both of them left here lips unpainted, did u paint the whole thing?

anyone got a writeup on this and what paint to use? I'm guessing the process is to scuff up or sand the centers then spray with flat or semi gloss high temp paint

I used Universal Black engine paint on my rims, with Aluminum engine paint on the lips. I just did a crappy job masking and sprayed them. I didn't even use primer. They have held up good. I sanded the rims a little, and used a dremel tool to remove the curb rash.
Use a lot of clear coat if you use them, engine paint wasn't made to be washed so much so its starting to wear.
