Falken Azenis year round?

Thanks for the input guys. I ordered a set of Azenis for my new(to me) bottlecaps this evening. I understand and agree with the hesitation to use them in winter, but I have a Subaru with studded snows and all seasons for bad/worse weather.

My original intent was not so much to learn of their snow and rain handling capabilities(although my mind is put at ease quite a bit by the responses) but to see whether they could withstand extended periods of storage in freezing/sub-freezing temperatures without permanent damage. I believe they can from the reports of using them in the snow, and so I ordered them.

I love how everyone keeps talking about driving on summer tires in the winter, while the poster never talked about that at all, haha.

They will be 100% fine for storing the car on. Inflate them to capacity and put the car on pieces of carpet if you can. It'll prevent flatspots.

i knew snow in NC would be less deep than snow in MA but I didn't know it lacked any and all slippery charactaristics too, because you have to be VERY mindful driving on 615's in the rain, even in a friggen fwd car. I think starting your car up to keep the battery charged in the snow with 615's = car r3ved into curb and on its roof.

Cool, thanks. I'll be storing the car on a gravel driveway, so carpet sounds like a good idea to prevent permanent rock indentation, in addition to flatspots. Will leaving the car on the carpet the whole year without moving it prevent flatspots or should I have the car moved enough to be sitting on a different part of the tire?

Should be fine, I live in the land of BMWs getting stored for 5-6 months at a time. The ultimate are those "tire cradles" you see in auto parts stores, which displace the weight of the tire across more of the sidewall.
