Thanks for the input guys. I ordered a set of Azenis for my new(to me) bottlecaps this evening. I understand and agree with the hesitation to use them in winter, but I have a Subaru with studded snows and all seasons for bad/worse weather.
My original intent was not so much to learn of their snow and rain handling capabilities(although my mind is put at ease quite a bit by the responses) but to see whether they could withstand extended periods of storage in freezing/sub-freezing temperatures without permanent damage. I believe they can from the reports of using them in the snow, and so I ordered them.
