aight my wheels were painted and clearcoated to match the body of the car when i got the car painted. they seem to be cleaning off really really easy, but i know theres still some brake dust on them somewhere. any recommendations on a cleaner that wont hurt my clearcoat/paint?

BMW has a wheel cleaner that seems to work pretty well and isn't too harsh for clearcoated wheels...but Purple Power/Simple Green work fine if you're careful and dilute it with water/soap.Trevor Ely

It may have worse effects on older wheels, where there clearcoat is starting to crack/etc.... but yeah, in your case you'd probably wouldn't have any problems with just straight Purple Power/Simple Green.Trevor Ely

Works great on wheels that are regularly cleaned, and dont have dust built up, or burnt onto the finish...that's when Simple Green/Purple Power come in.Originally posted by DigitalwaveI just use soapy car wash water. It works fine.Trevor Ely
