    325ix Fitment

Hey, so I have a 91 325i that has a decent amount of rust and have been looking for a cleaner shell to swap everything to. I found a 325ix with next to no rust and no drivetrain. I will basically have just a 325i with an ix shell. I know the ix has slightly larger fenders, what is the max size tire and wheel I can run on it? I have a set of staggard style 72s that Ive been wanting to try that have 255's on the rear and 225's on the front. The only thing Im worries about is they are 18's. I know 18's dont look good on e30s but Im curious as to if it will even work. I have 4x100 to 5x120 adapters to make them work, but would try to source a full 5 lug swap eventually.
    Thanks!

iX has fender flares atop regular fenders. They add nothing to the track width. Front suspension is completely different. If you're looking to reshell, stick with a RWD chassis.
