R1R's in 225/45/15 do exist, some guy with connection got to test em out. however, you will pay dearly for the toyos, they seam way more expensive than the other choices out there.
hankook usually have good sizing, so i wouldnt be suprised if they have the 225 size. however, i have no idea if it will be a good tire.
why not stick with the re-11?
I had a local shop just tell me $155 mounted and balanced. Doesn't seem TOO bad.

How about the Nitto NT-01? same thing as the RA1.. different tread pattern. comes in a 225/45-15, and is fairly cheap for an r-comp. They would be fine on the street, except for maybe in downpour.
I know they are meant more for track use not autox, but the RA1 had a reputation for lasting forever and it has to be at least as good as a typical cheap kumho or the outdated RS-2 (will probably outlast the RS-2 by a longshot).

I've decided to stick with a street tire for now, especially with the Toyo R1R available in 225/45/15, the RS3 is supposed to be soon, so we will just see what is actually available once I buy the wheels. And that will most likely be the determining factor.

probably gonna run these when i burn through my RE-11s and relegate my TRM wheels for track only duty.
I run hoosiers in that size. Both r3so4's and A3so4's (I think those are the models) I run them on a 15x8 et 13 and 15x8 et+4. I ran them with my cup kit and my IE3's with no issues. I also run in DSP. Hope that helps. I will try and get some poics tonight when I get home.
