Cool car for sure. Too bad he ruined a good e28 m5. Could have done that with any e28.
I prefer the local Lucifer's Hammer personally:

Also, 14psi is 14psi. Elevation doesn't really affect FI cars since they create an artificial environment in the engine.
Remember your boost control is referenced to atmospheric PSI, so 14 psi over atmospheric is not the same amount of ABSOLUTE psi everywhere.
you can see that for yourself if you figure absolute PSI, not reference PSI. It's just not as much loss as NA, and you can make up for it by running just a bit more boost than you could at sea level.
mildly exaggerated numbers below for the purpose of demonstration (13 psi is about 4000 feet ASL).
13 psi ambient + 0 boost = 13 psi absolute /14.7 sea level = 88% power of ASL
14.7 psi ambient + 14 psi boost = 28.7 absolute / 28.7 = 100% @ ASL
13 psi ambient + 14 psi boost = 27 psi absolute / 28.7 = 94% of ASL
(down but not as much as N/A)
13 psi ambient + 16 psi boost = 29 psi absolute = 101% of ASL at 14 psi
this is why (if you can get good octane gas) you can run more boost in higher elevations like denver, etc, and why you need to be careful when listening to people say what boost levels are 'safe' .

Btw, 5,000 feet? only 12 psi absolute... so he'd make the same power on 10 psi ASL.
