For one I think its a cool car cause you dont see many 79 5 serie's with that being said I think the E92 wheels look out of place only because
they dont match the style of the car. You said they were free so maybe you can sell make a few bucks and buy more time specific wheels.

Im giving opinions here without bashing you so dont take it that way.

I think your thread went south after a few things :
    • The roof rack ( I dont get this at all )
    • You said you used to have a VW ( thats fine Ive had many love a proper VW )
People associate this ridiculous style with VW kids ( not the hardcore race kids )
I have many friends with serious turbo VR's

The problem is your taking what appears to be a whacky style and trying to
apply it to a BMW which isnt gonna fly.

It reminds me of some EMO 17 year olds in skinny jeans straight brims I
    would see @ H20

Extreme camber / crazy angled stickers / pointless roof-racks isnt going to fly on this forum the style is not original by any means.

Again just honest opinions many problay share, I think the car has potental..

Diff rims nothing crazy, some mild body work and bumpers ( euro if poss ) and car will kick ass.. Best of luck.

Your ride height looks great, the wheels are ugly(my opinion) they remind me of a Dodge Charger. Put euro bumpers on and paint it. That will look amazing, do whatever you want for wheels.

You can get the body fixed easy and for cheap. I say do that and the bags with some nice BBS splits. Those modern BMW wheels are not fitting to the style one bit. I remember your car from Bimmerfest thread, loved everything but the wheels and lack of euro bumpers.

If you cannot handle responses that are not to your liking don't ask for an opinion.
I asked for opinions, not what everyone thought was wrong with my car. I take all the positive feedback into consideration and try to weed out the bullshit. Majority of the posts are just bashing my car, that I've had for less than a year.

Seriously...I don't see much wrong with your car but how you handled everything was ridiculous. Not to mention sticking shit on your roof isn't original when you're just copying a large group of people who are trying to be different from everyone else . Anyways, your ride height looks fine although I know nothing about your setup, so you should probably spend some time on the body first, and keep it the original color.

Although there has been an abundance of unnecessary trolling in this thread, there's no need to call us e30 waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless and whatnot. We all appreciate and love the classic BMWs; highly modded down to an original state.

Get to work on that e12 and carry on!

When I originally asked what purpose bags served, I should have specified that I was thinking in a performance sense, specifically track-style driving. So that is the filter my "perception" was looking through.

so to the OP, it sounds like you should just get bags, rust out the paint, slam the car with ridiculously stretched tires and negative camber, and install spark blocks so you can scrape down the road and throw sparks. Also might I suggest some stickers on your front and rear windshields along one of the edges and at 45 degree angles, including "illest" and that "shocker" finger picture (whatever that is). And hang something off the rear tow hitch like a teddy bear or something.

Do you own a Monster hat?
No I do not own a monster hat but those are all great ideas. Lol. Maybe I won't go to those extremes but I'm going to start by getting the fuck off this website!

Your perception is outdated by a few decades there.

Don't be a douchebag. Trolls are getting the best of you. Take that stupid ass filter out of your grill and reinstall your high beam. It looks like shit and is far from "classy", if you want a race car, get some coil overs, and while you're at it a better platform to start with than an e12
I think someone is stuck in e30 land. And it's Fucking Classy

Bodywork, bumpers, and stock suspension until you can get it properly sorted.

    in this exact order
    Bumpers
    Body/Paint (same color)
    Bags
BBS (or something with sekksie mesh)

    It's a quad B theme.
You'll look back at this and realize how retarded you were. I've done it a few times. lol
