At least they were functional.....
I was recently hit from behind at nearly 10mph, and while it shattered the grill and broke the bumper and headlights of the Passat that hit me, there was barely a scuff on my E28's bumper. They were ungainly, but they worked.....Leave a comment:

Hey, start a new thread with a more welcoming clear tone atmosphere. With a positive, optimistic mind set and finish that old sexy bitch up.Leave a comment:

All i wanna say is don't let the negative feedback get to you in a bad way. Take their opinions into consideration and maybe you'll see where they are coming from. I joined this forum and stopped coming on because i thought people were immature and rude etc. but then i re-read things and decided that getting mad was ignorant. If they took the time to post comments about their thoughts on my car i should at least look at it their way too.
Take a minute to relax man.
I like your car, i do agree the wheels don't really fit the era, and as f34r said its a little to dodge charger-ish. but if you see potential go your own direction dude. I'd start with bodywork first though, because your stance isn't bad at all.Leave a comment:

This is how it is now. Took the wheels off for winter status. Who wants em. Brand new nitto tires

I lost you at shitty bodywork...the car isn't body worked besides the hoodI had a good laugh at this thread.
yeah, you're so original!
Rusty, shitty body work - check
wheels that look totally rediculous coupled with said bodywork - check
slammed to unuseable height - check
sideways nonsense stickers placed randomly at 45 degree angles - check
Junk from the salvation army strapped haphazardly to the roof rack - check
hipster douchebag attitude - triple check
way to think outside the box.Leave a comment:

I think a lowered E12 could work with those wheels. Definitely needs bodywork but mentioning you do bodywork seems like this will happen soon anyhow. I think having a properly functioning suspension is most important right now.Leave a comment:

You asked for opinions and then you got them. And then you acted like a child because the opinions you got weren't sufficiently supportive. Why bother asking for opinions if you can't handle criticism?
And anyway, I thought that the childish "unique" look was all about getting people with good taste to tell you that your car is ugly anyway? Because you're too cool to conform and all that. I mean, you do EVERYTHING that the cool kids are doing, so you must be one of them too.Leave a comment:
