HIDs?

So here's the deal.

My passenger side headlight wont work and I believe I need a LKM. One of my friends suggested that I just buy a HID kit from DDM tuning. If I were to install HIDs would I still need to get a new LKM? Sorry if this is a noob question.

if you have reflectors, hids are going to blind everyone on the road with the glare

if you have projectors, they still throw off glare (although not as bad)

So what's an e30 driver to do? Seriously, what is the best solution for getting light in front of us on the road and not in other driver's faces?

get ellipsoids or cibies, and get good bulbs

I've got ellipsoids. Those are the projectors you are suggesting I should not put HIDs in, correct?

Put them in and aim them properly.

im running HID's in my projectors on my e34. just aim them properly.
