    Questions about eliminating Smog componets for racing

    Getting my 535iS ready to race Chumpcar. Does anyone know what to get rid of as far as all the smog stuff goes? could use some help. Thanks

    evap control system (charcoal canister and lines)? no real benefit to removing this.
    remove the cat

    Thats about it. Theres no rules in chump about removing smog hardware is there?

      No heated throttle on e28s. They were manly cars that could keep their throttles warm without assistance.

      No real "smog" equip on e28s. Cats, yes, but no EGR, air pump, etc, etc.

        I think removing EVAP on E34 will make run a bit lean
