    M21 Feasibility Question

I recently inherited an M21 diesel motor. I'm curious about something that I have not been able to determine from numerous searches.

Would it be possible to fit a 200 or 731 head to the M21 block with custom pistons to convert this motor to gasoline operation?

I am not suggesting it would be a smart thing to do versus other options or that I would pursue this but was just curious if it is technically feasible.

I wouldn't know, but from my general knowledge, conversions don't work out well. Look at the Gm diesels that were converted from gasoline power in the late 70s. They were shit.

Personally, I think it would be a fool's errand.

the motor is far more valuable than a regular m20. Just sell it for $500 and buy a regular m20b25 for $250.

Google up pictures of the heads and blocks and look if oil and coolant passages even line up. They do not.
