    STOLEN CAR ALERT: 1984 BMW 325e STOLEN IN BURLINGTON VT JUNE 09-10 2022

    Chris is a super nice dude who bought this car from our shop last year. It was red/black, 210K+ miles. It had all VIN tags present.

    It was stolen last night or this morning between 10PM-8AM

    1984 BMW 325e

    VT Plate: KDM221

    VIN: WBAAB5403E1008419

    Shop where it was located:

    Bryan's North End Auto
    98 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05401

    Please alert if anyone has any info.

              I just don't understand the logic behind car thefts anymore..Back in my younger days (the 1980's) cars were stolen then stripped bare for parts and then in the 90's-2000's they were stolen then shipped as a whole to different parts of the world.

              Nowadays most cars that are stolen are recovered almost within a day from when they were stolen with little to no damage. Am i missing something here?

                Chris called me and said the shop had left the keys inside it overnight by accident. It was taken by someone local, looks like they went for a joyride then parked it at an apartment complex. He hasn't mentioned if they caught who actually did it, but the car was not moved again because apparently it didn't start when they went to recover it (some faulty electrical thing). There were needles in the car found, that was about the only problem.
