Hi I need some help for my forged m20b25 bottom end.
I have the Wiseco pistons with part number KE317M845AP
which they have 34.7 compression height,im using 135mm rods,stock crankshaft,84.5 mm bore. 75 stroke
My issue is that those pistons hit on my 885 head with oem standard head and with oem oversize headgasket.
Keep in mind that my engine was in perfect condition and i just wanted to build a forged block to be able to run a turbo,so i just bore the block ,Head was in perfect condition
Wiseco on their site claims that those pistons are for 206.7 deck height.
I made some maths and i have this result
75/2+135+34.7 =207.2 which is 0.5 more than the oem specs.
If i use the oem compression height piston which is 34.2 the result is 206.7 which is correct
Did i miss something? Are those numbers from Wiseco correct?
If i want to run this engine i will need at least 2.5mm Mls headgasket?
Thanks and sorry for that big post
