E30 Evo (Garagistic Rep) Dead Pedal fit in clown shoe?

When I bought my clown shoe the dead pedal was cracked off/mostly missing. It's NLA in my color (black) and the oem ones suck anyway.

All the aftermarket dead pedals I've seen are covers that go over the existing one, which I don't have. A solid dead pedal is clutch (or next to it, har har) for trackdays.

I see Garagistic is making a rep of the e30 m3 evo dead pedal which is a bolt-in jobbie. Wondering if it may be able to fit my z3m, with modification if needed? I don't have an e30 anymore for comparison sake, I e-mailed garagistic last week and haven't heard back, figured I'd ask here?

BMW E30 M3 EVO Mtechnic Style Dead Pedal Overview Keep yourself planted in the driver's seat when you're driving flat out with Garagistic's rendition of the E30 M3 factory dead pedal originally developed by BMW Motorsport. This is not just a fancy cover for your E30's factory carpeted foot rest. In fact, it is intended

Since you're willing to modify, you might be able to. Never heard of anyone doing this but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Also does the roadster have extra bracing since it's a convertible?

Didn't know that the footrest was unavailable.

My footrest was fine when I got my car so I ended up just throwing on some IND pedal covers for a E36 M3. Fitment is perfect, but that's just a cover and not the whole assembly. That being said, try looking into a E36 dead pedal - they're closer to a Z3 pedal than an E30 is and with modification you might be able to get it to work.

We have not yet tested this dead pedal in a Z3 but once we get the chance to test it, we can update you!

Easy to fabricate. For the e30 I made a template from cardboard than traced it to 16ga diamond plate aluminum. It anchors to the carpet clip. I used a cheapo metal brake for the bends, airplane snips to cut. Matches the pedals.
