Lower console wire help

I removed the lower center console and this blue wire was not connected to anything. Anyone know where it goes? I’m not finding it in the Bentley manual yet.

Could be the wire for the handbrake/parking lever.

With the key on, ground that blue wire and see I your parking brake light shows up on your dash.

you are missing that plunger (above post) that goes into that gray metal bracket hole at the end of the handbrake lever. that blue wire gets inserted in that plunger and gets grounded when the hand brake is pulled up
