The image of where to bend/dent the rod is wrong? Seems like you should be hitting it with a hammer on the bottom side to clear the damper.

Just remove the damper and don't bend shit for no reason.
FYI, removing the damper will require 3 additional bolts since the damper uses 3 studs.Last edited by McGyver; 04-10-2024, 09:09 AM.sigpic
