Was the M Technic trunk spoiler available from BMW the third brake light, I've seen a few with the light but not sure if they are original from BMW or aftermarket.

I'm don't think so since the 3rd brake light is a US thing. I don't recall ever seeing an OEM M tech 2 with the light...only aftermarket which makes sense. Never seen it... Possibly on the convertibles since they normally have the decklid-mounted 3rd brake light. But I doubt it.Comment

I searched RealOem and it looks like is only one part number available which is no light.Comment

I have not seen MT2 coupes/sedans with the third brake light. The MT2 trunk spoiler blocks the view of the third brake light. Likely why US convertible MT2's don't have a trunk spoiler.Comment
