some odd maintenance parts that will work
.
94 - 97 6cyl mustang is the same lph and pressure as the walbro 255lph for the fuel pump mod. common jobber brands are delphi and spectra. both essentially chinesium but will work. delphi had a bad run a couple years back. i went with a spectra with brass outlet. get the matching sock. 84 -97 was sorta the old standard ask but dumber parts places are better if you focus on the 94 - 97. dunno why.
the VW mk4 jetta / golf 2.0L oil filter is the exact same as the e30. it cross references. if you try purchase an e30 filter in common parts stores where i live you are either turned away or they charge $8 - $15 dollars more for the same filter cause you asked for it by the magic expensive letters. if you need it the vw filter is way easier to ask for and find in the backwoods and stays cheap.
same for the mk4 fuel filter on later single fuel pump e30s. it is larger by a touch under a third but fits in place with no real problems. it's a bit tight but works if you need one quicker than ordering, and bigger filter yay. the e30 fuel filter is no chance to find local here at all.
both mann oil and fuel filters are still listed for the vw locally which helps out as it is a decent brand. i don't always have my crap together to order ahead.
