    Hiccup on e30s

On my 87' 325is when I accelerate flat out I usually get a hiccup or two on the upper end of the tach ( 4-5 k rpm). Is this normal for e30s? If not any ideas?

    Hiccup as in misfire?

How old is your ignition system?
    Cap/Rotor/Plugs/Wires.

When was the fuel system serviced? Fuel filter replaced?

      Not normal

most likely due to something failing in the spark ignition system

I had an issue in the past of higher RPM hiccups and it was due to a fouled plug..

I'd start by pulling each plug and checking for built up shit on the tip.
