    Basketweaves on a lowered e30

Got my hooks on a set of brand new basketweaves, not sure I can use these on my 1986 e30 that has Eibach lowering springs (1.5"). Anyone have experience with this idea?

    Here is the factory part number 36 11 1 179 066, 7.0Jx15

Stamped on the face area covered with the cap: 1179066 248ET24 7JX15H2 01 B MADE IN GERMANY BBS 19

I have the usual 14" bottlecaps on now.

Chime in, I am looking for lots of advice? What I am trying to avoid is rubs, interference etc....

I would ask my tire guys, but I don't think I fully trust their advice on this subject, looking at what others have done or not done?

I'm classified as a Noobie, but I have owned and worked on this car for nearly 40 years, so not new to e30 chassis by any means, but very new to trying to change wheel/offset .

    These are known as Euroweaves.
I use 205/55r15 tires on mine.

My car is lowered quite a bit from stock, without being "slammed".
There is plenty of room to add wheel spacers, I have a set of 5mm front & 20mm rear hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers w/extended lugs.

Thanks for the input, sweet relief, I kind of worried that I bought a pig in a poke. Tires gonna be ordered today.

205/55/15 would be the correct tire size. This is the factory size on Euro weaves as well as 325ix and E30 M3 15" weaves.
