Please help ticking noise i dont know where to start

Car has this ticking noise after regular driving.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV0TnNME4zI do I just need to do valve adjustment or is it something more serious. The knocking is pretty faint so you have to turn your volume up to hear it in the beginning. Thank you sorry for English

    Welcome! 2 things to try-
    mechanic's stethoscope.
They really do work better than a long screwdriver.

Take the belts off and run it- just for a minute-
to make sure it's not a failing water pump, alternator, etc...

    t
must be getting soft- didn't require pix of GF.
now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

the m20 are normally kinda typewriters. there's a bit of a knock below it in the vid though. separate from the valves.

Is the car manual? See if the noise changes when the clutch pedal is pressed in.
