Decisions Decisions Where should I go Europe or Chicago

Well it's time for me to transfer from Italy and cannot seem to figure out what I want to do. These are the choices

    1. Take another tour overseas maybe in Sicily Naples Italy (close to junkyards and many Euro parts  ) but no convenience plus Italians and their rudenesss

    2. Chicago (pushing bootcamps) Wife has also given me the blessing to pay to have car federalized

Both have their + and - but kind of leaning toward Chicago. What do you guys think?

Chicago has great Museums, it's closer to home so if you want to see your family it's way more feasable. You can see a baseball game if you want and I am guessing you are ready to be back in the States or you wouldn't have asked. I vote for Chicago.

Does having it federalized mean you have to put us spec bumpers on? waht about smog?

I'm from Chicago, it's a fantastic city with lots to do and good pizza. Be prepared for crappy winters with salty roads though. Since I've never lived in a foreign country I would love to live in Italy for awhile, especially since I've taken four semesters of Italian.

Oh yeah, if you like sports teams that win forget Chi-town :(

Europe. Get more experience in Europe, not many people (from North America) are able to do that.

You can always come back to the US later.

And get your car pimpin with euro accesories before you bring it back 8)

                Chicago.

Its a great city with a lotta of pride and culture. Its not a particularly beautiful city, and the weather isn't that great 9 months out of the year, but it has a little bit of everything: two baseball teams, a football team, a basketball team, a hockeyteam, a great lakefront, some good architecture, lots of history, good food, tons of shopping on Michigan Ave for your wife, two museums, and the Chicago Autoshow (as well as other various shows at McCormick Place).

There's also some very nice suburbs surrounding Chicago.

Anyone who says Chicago sucks, is crazy. I love the city!

you've probably already been all over europe, but personally I'd go there before some big american city. never been to chicago, but generally I hate large cities (not that europe isn't full of them!).

Thanks guys. Italy is nice, except the people are so rude to Americans here. I have been all over Europe and the people are generally pretty cool. Italians on the other hand.

But it might not be for long, since there is an outside chance that I could go back to Japan (wife's family there). I'll see what happens.

I'd stick with Italy... but thats just me being the design freak that I am. If Italians are dicks though, come back home for a bit, you'll get more chances to move elsewhere I'm sure. If you do come back to the states, wanna pick up an mtech II rear bumper and cabrio side skirts for me? Just throw them in your car when you ship it :)

I loved the 10 months I spent in Sicily but it's a dirty country. The people as a whole didn't bother me at all. The French irritate me more while I am here in germany more as well as the Russians and Turks that live for free here in the region that piss me off.

Big weather change for you thou.
