That video is over ten years old. I remember when the CHP first got the Mustangs they were initially using them in the canyons and mountains, then later they appeared on the open interstates outside L.A. Near the end of their tours they painted a bunch of em gold, blue, and maroon with white doors to sneak up on truckers. Some of em were all white.

They were all 5-speed manuals too ! Lots of dumbo CHP officers were embarrased when they had to admit that they couldn't drive stick shifts so they taught em how.

Before they had the Mustangs, they had Camaros. They also had Chevy Citations and some Volvo turbos for a while.
