My friends dad drives his E30 only 500 miles a year. No Joke. He waxs, clay bar and just does an all out detail job on it then puts a car cover over it and then stores it in a garage. Very clean and one pristine e30 i have to say, far from stock however. has 90-95k on it

You are still friends with slit wrists boy?

That is one gorgeous E30. Think about it, its a 2 door iX that's 5 speed! That's rare in itself. And if Ryan's car is worth $4,000 then I think a 7,000 mile E30 is worth in the $10,000 range.

Don't worry it hit the 10K mark today. Dumb ebayers. Lot of ambuguities with this car also. Me I think someone just rolled it back. It's way to easy on our cars.

"Only maintenance on this vehicle with 7500 miles would be a 1200 mile service and the first oil service which would be due at 7500. Inspection 1 service is due at 15000 by BMW schedule maintenance. So there isn't much history. There is nothing to hide. She had it in a garage and didn't drive it."

THIS THING HAS THE ORIGINAL OIL IN IT?

I drove both an EVO and an STI the other day. It was fun, but nothing compared to my car and all I have is a stock 89 325is. HAHAHA my $4300 compared to their $30K.

you gotta wonder why it only has 7000 miles.
                        1) it's not a M3 (not a one of a kind)
                        2) 500 miles a year is very unrealistic... it must have done most of the driving in early stages, then rested for years.
                        - in this sense, there would be a suspicion that perhaps the car was totalled early on in its life, then rescured by someone --> so the interior is still mint.
                        3) The seller is not a reputable one, and does not have a single feedback when it comes down to selling an item.

And if the car has 7000 miles, what is the point of the timing belt change? Correct me if Im wrong, but parts are replaced because it becomes worn with use - if it was just sitting around, there wouldn't be any wear?

rubber wears with time, regardless of use.

no, but there are actually less ix's in the states and they were just as expensive new. it is strange, but some people just have more money than they know what to do with, and no time to enjoy it.

But cabrio's were more costly. What's odd is this car is now on it's 3 relist??? Strange it was up to $10300 and then I saw it listed for $3500 and it's $7500.

The latest pictures look good but I still won't touch it unless I saw it in person and new the title is clean. It sounds hookey. Did anyone go look at it?

cabrios weren't more expensive by very much, and besides, they still go for $10k+ (the upper range for an ix).

they must have had a deadbeat bidder or something, I was looking on ebay earlier and it was gone, then I saw it was there again for $3500. either that or they think they're going to get $25,000 like that one dude wanted for a low-mileage 4door auto..
