        yeah...

        I paid $2400 for my '89i two years ago, same color combo and tranny, but mine was (still is) in better shape.

        Get him to $2000

            Im pretty sure he would go down to 2k, he sounds pretty determined to sell it, he told me he and his wife decided to sell it.

                I paid $3400 for mine, mint, no rust, perfect running, 5 speed eta, 89k miles ($100 over book ~2.5yrs ago). Don't know if that helps or not...
