only way you are going to win if her imprezza is a RS ,shes a shit driver, granny shifting and if you take her to teh turns and you push it! good luck you have 10% winning chance.

In a straight line my lightly modded(a bunch of bolt ons) e30 was dead even with a bugeye WRX from a rolling start, also even with a lightly modded RSX Type S from any(somewhat low) starting point.

Granted the bolt ons did seem to make it a lot faster than it should have, I dropped a half second off my 1/4 mile, but the difference in speed in these two cars is small enough that it will mostly depend on the driver, as I doubt either of you race much.

i cant say good luck cause that was just a dumb idea to take on a impreza.

where did you get that idea? the impreza is mildly understeer-biased, but that's good because it lets you hamfist it sideways while trusting that the push that's there is eventually going to bring you back straight again. if one of these cars surprises its driver at the limit, then they REALLY need to work on the smoothness of their inputs.

so yeah. you're wrong about that, and you're going to lose rather badly.

get big, sticky tires, and a good set of springs, shocks and sway bars, then challenge her to a race on a really windy road. You should win if you're a good driver and she's not.

p.s. getting beat is only fun if you're getting absolutely worked then its just fun cause it's funny.

I think I now have less braincells than Farbin.

We are actually going to a track, so there will be plenty of cornering.
