If you race around some of these roads here that are 2nd gear turns that you get up to 3rd sometimes on a strait but come back Down to 2nd, then I'm fairly confident anything less then an sti couldn't beat me

OP- momentum is your friend. The WRX will have a good deal of turbo lag, so unless she is a decent enough driver to keep it in the powerband, she may be dead in the water on corner exit. Just don't be a dumbass and overdrive for your skills and die.

just cause the car is faster on paper doens't mean it's going to win, plus like you suggest, she might be bad at driving. I think it's all about the driver

I used to walk my buddies Impreza 2.5RS all day in my IX. I would burn him out of the corners every time though.

In a straight line my lightly modded(a bunch of bolt ons) e30 was dead even with a bugeye WRX from a rolling start, also even with a lightly modded RSX Type S from any(somewhat low) starting point.

Granted the bolt ons did seem to make it a lot faster than it should have, I dropped a half second off my 1/4 mile, but the difference in speed in these two cars is small enough that it will mostly depend on the driver, as I doubt either of you race much.

What were your before and after 1/4mi. times if you don't mind me asking?

I looked online and a lot of people are pushing low 14s and even a couple in the high 13s in stock wrx's which amazed me. I'm sure this girl isn't that great of a driver though.
