I went the rounds with BMW over this and they finally admitted that some of the es models had a different tranny output shaft and bolted directly to the driveline.

Did you ever look for yourself? Sounds like someone was messing with you...

Edit: Oh you have automagic.. just saw that post. That explains it.

WTF? something told me to ask if you had an automatic, especially when you mentioned having it rebuilt. Yeah, no guibo's on the automatic E30's.

My es has the 13 button obc and had the premium sound...although most of the premium in the sound system was gone when I got it. O and the power sunroof.....I noticed tho, I have the "comfort" seats.....I read they came with the "sport" seats on a couple occasions.....someone must of swapped them. But I'd rather have the sport seats.

Well i just got back.
i lost all interest after 5 min of looking at the car. it was an es, with all the goodies. The kid said the car has 'no rust'. Oh, boy the dealer really hooked him. The rocker panels were extremely wavy, whoever bondo'ed them must have been drunk.

So i figure while i'm here i'll take it out for a test drive. the car had 2 real bad flat spots through the revs. While i'm drivin he's tellin me what the car goes up to and how nice it cruises at 100mph. real nice small talk during a test drive.

Right now i know this car is shit, but just to f with him i left him drive my car. The kid was driving my car like he was learning stick.And then he was asking me how fast it goes.
