I used to sell Cutco knives too. I thought it was a scam, but I did it anyway because I already had a FT job at the time. So it would only be some extra change in my pocket.

Anyways, to my suprise, if you follow their directions, you can really sell those knives, and make some good bucks. I was getting 50% commission after selling something like 4000 dollars of knives. You sell a big set and you get 500+ dollars. Not bad. Plus they are good knives, you go to the right people and they will buy it.

And yah cutting yourself is more common with duller knives, sharper the knife, safer it is to use it in the kitchen.

He has promised to refer me all over the place. It is the only way I would go into massage therapy, (a built in referral network) it is much to difficult to build a business for yourself otherwise. It is an extremely saturated market. That's a shame, because the truly gifted masseurs, like myself ;), have a hard time finding work when MT's are a dime a dozen.
If you give happy enders you will get a large client base real fast.

Oh yea. I do lots of R&D.

      Yeah. R&D. Sure.

Can you say jacking off in the apex bathroom all day.......

          CUTCO ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
the paycheck rocks even more 8)
What is Cutco, like a cross between a barbershop and Costco?

I'm sorry that you work at Starbucks. How much longer until your soul is completely drained?
well, starbucks isn't that bad...i actually enjoy it because my store is not that busy, and all we do is sit back and make drinks for ourselves.

as for cutco, it isn't really bogues; it's not door to the neither. It does "seem" liek a scam because in order to sell, you need to build a pyramid (you start with peopel you know, you sell to them, they give you referrals, and so on). As for the commission, yes it's at 10%, but i've worked my way up to 50%, and up there, boy does the money just roll in like nothing. Just think- the avg. price a person comes to when buying cutco is about $250. divide by half, and i made that in an hour- and i have 10 appts a week. But MY average sales per appt is not the company's average...

EDIT: oops, i failed to mention that cutco is ktichen cutlery, sporting knives, and gardening tools. One of the sporting knives was in the scream sagas. lol ;) (high quality knives i might add)

BERT! You live in Nashvile? That is great to hear! So that means that I can come see this.....

....whenever I want to drool and wonder what my car SHOULD look like? :)

What city do you live in? I am looking at real estate right now. Trying to decide what would be the best part of town to live in. I want to live south of the city anyway.

RE: your car. I really like the way it looks with the clears and the black kidneys. So much so that I just might have to put that on my list. But I think it is the bumper that really sets the look off nice. It would not be as sharp with sidemarkers. Hmmmm. Deff. something for me to think about. Did you get that kidny from ebay? How is it working out for you?

Kristen...if I'm not mistaken the E30 is a mainly "chick" car....is it not?

                  anyway
Currently, I'm a barback on the mainly "over 21" bar strip In Buffalo.....tips, tips, tips. And I love it. I suppose that explains why I'm always posting between 3pm-6am.

Well, you see, I am not sure why it woudn't be a chick car. But all that I have ever gotten here is, "Wow. you are a woman, AND drive an e30, AND you like it. Women usually hate the e30"

You are the frist person to refer to the e30 as a chick car. :)

i live down in Franklin...just south of the Cool Springs area...it is THE place to
live in this part of the state...Cool Springs is exploding with growth...if you can't
find a store or restaurant there, then you don't need it...cost of living is less in
this area which is about 10 minutes south of Brentwood...still quite a bit more
expensive than the other areas that you had mentioned of off I-24 (Antioch,
Smyrna, Murfreesboro) , but your resale values are pretty crazy out here as
well...i bought a 3700 sf brick home about 5 1/2 years ago in a golf community
for $275k and it appraised over the summer at almost $330k with no end in
                        sight...location, location, location...

and about the kidneys--yeah, i bought 'em from the guy that sells the fake
ellipsoids on ebay...kenso903 or something like that...an asian part, but
good quality and it won't chip...
