Sold mine today for $75. Here was my ad:
E30 Automatic Swap!
Face it, shifting gears sucks. Yeah everyone is all like "car enthusiast, save the manual, blah blah blah". Look, you know auto is where it's at. I have a prime automatic transmission, fat brake pedal, trans brace, and shifter assembly from a 1990 325i with about 160k miles. Everything you need to upgrade to a smooth as butter shifting experience and 0-60 times of "whenever the hell I get there". You can swap this right in to your M20 powered BMW and you can even make money. Suckers will pay you like $500 for you old worn out hip destroying 5 speed!! I know, I know; utter lunacy right?
As an additional bonus; texting, tweeting, eating and generally not paying attention to the road, in any form becomes much easier. Think of the productivity you will gain answering work emails in the car!
Trust me, I own an e30. I know these things. Hell, I own two e30s and one of them currently runs. So you know, that I know, that you know, that you NEED A 25 YEAR OLD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION in your life and in your E30 right now!Thank god, R3V was getting boring since the ginger kid wrecked his car. - Stonea
