I'm 21, and i don't consider MJ a legend. I consider Hendrix a legend for example.... but then again i've always disliked Pop music in general and have been a classic rock nut at heart.

MJ was a Icon around the world, and his music will never die.
          RIP.

I don't understand how you can miss someone who hasn't even made decent music in the past 20 years by pretty much anyones standards.. He did his part for society or whatever and then became a total freak, he became a drain on society long ago.. I really just don't understand how anyone could be sad to see him finally die, you guys confuse me.

May I remind you that he was never in fact charged and found guilty of molesting or raping any children. Not that I don't think he became a freak, but don't let this part of his life tarnish what he DID do.

And O.J. didn't kill a couple people either. Its not about how guilty you are, its how much you can afford to be innocent.

I grew up listening to Michael. My parrents listened to michael. Our cars come out of an era/time period that was saturated and infatuated with michael jackson. I love they guy's music. It's always on my iPod and more than often playing in my car, and I'm not ashamed of it. I am sad.

shit, im 18 and i know micheal jackson was a legend anyone who disagrees is a rehtard ( the Hangover style lol). i wasnt around when he was in his prime but i still enjoy his music. he was bigger than elvis imo, RIP Mike Jackson.

janderson is right all of these multi platinum pop artist like usher, chris brown, justin timberlake etc would not even be here if it wasnt for micheal. look at any of there videos and then look at michaels "beat it" or "dont stop", look familiar?
