    What's this E30 M3 worth?

Just want to get a feel for what this car is honestly worth as it sits. The parts pictured come with the car obviously.

It has 98k original miles, supposedly it runs fine (even though i see no belts or an intake or fan or radiator in the pics), it has a clean title, although it seems to have been in an accident, and its a 1988.

    Well, on to the pics.

Thanks for the input guys, it is greatly appreciated.

yup, there's a bit of rust there it seems. Not sure how deep it goes.

Do you have a price that you think its worth?

3500-4500 if the engine is good. Don't go over 5k with the rust in the rear.........

If the engine is bad.............1500-2000. Basically a parts car.

Fenders are about $250 each from the dealer and still available. The evo3 ones are the same price but your dealer has to be creative to get them in the states.

Grills are standards are the hood and trim pieces. The bumper is the killer if you can find one and not aftermarket crap GRP. Hopefully it is not damaged.

                    hmm...

the car still has the stock front bumper, as you can see in the pics, but needs to be painted or something.

And i think it needs a bunch of little crap between the kidneys and the motor.

worth about $5k, especially that parts are included. Probably spend another $3k to fix it.
Not a bad deal.....if you pass up on it, I wouldn't mind adding another one to the stable ;)

The core support is trashed and the passenger side frame looks pushed in. I would offer him like 3k-4k.

Partable for good dollar amount, only worth as much as YOU want to pay for it. I would be cheap because it's gonna require work, but some one with resources and time might offer as much as 8. Reasonable mileage chassis and looks complete with parts to fix it... You never know.

My first one was 3.5K running, driving. Second one was 7.1K non op and required an engine. So....your math. I had a spare so the second was worth it. Now I have a spare 2.5L bottom end.

They use Shekels. 10,000 shekels is about $2,500 so I don't think he means Israeli currency.

Here's some little info for those of you throwing out numbers like $1500.... (keep dreaming kids!)

New OEM bumper cover from BMW - ~$850
                              New 5 Lug M3 Suspension from BMW - ~$3500
New Front fenders from BMW - ~$325/ea
                              Used S14 Core for rebuild - ~$2500
                              M3 Interior in decent condition - ~$1200

Now, it needs some rust repair. Big deal. The core support is getting replaced anyways, so you're doing paintwork no matter what.

I'd pay $5500-8500 for a car in that condition if the motor can be verified with under 100k miles.
                              Below the radar...
