I don't think they are going to be picky at all since they are going to crush the cars.

Looking at the car. You have good headlights and fogs.
Rear headrests are nice and I am sure someone would want your front seats.
bumpers are perfect, the stereo looks ok, so are the shifter and boot and OBC.
I am sure there is a lot more but those listed above are usually in demand and really easy to remove.
I'm right off of lemon grove ave - youre probably not more than 2-3 miles away.

Would you want to trade/purchase the weaves at all? Even if you end up selling them on ebay we would both probably make out. As I said in the PM im just *real* paranoid about getting it to the dealer now lol. A belt started squealing in a parking lot today and i let out alot of curses thinking the car was cursing me cause it knows im getting rid of it :tsk:

I dont know how to take all that stuff off but i've got a bentley manual and an afternoon to kill $$.

The car was heading for scrap anyways. Cant pass smog. Dying transmission (had 1/3 of the fluid when i bought it). 21 mpg. No working AC. CANT PASS SMOG. That dooms an old car here in california. Spend who knows how much money fixing a rusty $1350 car?

The $4500 goes for any car that gets 10 mpg over the car you trade in, or $3500 for any car that gets 4-9 mpg over it, which is quite a range. I bought a nice grocery getter for the girlfriend so that we don't have to drive her supercharged truck whenever we need AC because it's hot out.

I'm just trying to preserve a few good pieces off of it and maybe make a buck while doing so.

They got Mini Coopers and you can even get a 335d. I keep telling my dad to trade in this crap Toyota someone gave him and its just sitting here. I wouldn't mind dailying a Mini.

You keep saying rust, I don't see shit. Move to Michigan... then you'll know rust.

Your new car is going to be a lemon, 1) thats a perfectly good shell for a 24 swap 2) Obamabot!

                          What the fuck? Dude, seriously.

But actually I forgot about smog shit. In AL, we don't have any sort of inspection.
But I'd say strip it entirely of all goodies, and send it off, might as well. Get a mini.

S54B32 swap in progress. Status: Getting There

That car will be re-sold eventually. After he trades it in, a dealer will purposely blow up the engine. Then it goes to auction. We have to do 17 of them tomorrow.

Thought "clunkers" were given CDs. You'll never put that chassis on the road again.
