How much do these engines usually go for? A friend of mine totaled his car and he wanted to sell it to me to swap into the e30, but I have no interest (funds) to do such a thing. If anyone here would be interested I can give contact info, probably let it go for cheaper than usual since he's loaded.

Drive by wire? Sounds fantastically complex.
