    Anyone have a M&M motor

Looking at a metric mechanic rally motor for my 318is, does anyone have one in their car or ever drive one? Similar power to a m50 but I imagine it would handle much better. Trying to look at all options.

Tried searching but didnt find any reviews.

    Any info or insight appreciated

Maybe because you should search MM, not some sweet treat name.

Its just too overpriced to be practical. Yea its light and R3Vy but its def not worth the cost unless you are hardcore purist

spend less, and find a used DA supercharger kit.

they make good stuff. yes, it's expensive. whether it's worth it depends on the person.. to your typical broke ass E30 driver, not likely. but they must sell a few or they wouldn't be in business.

At the very least, it should make for a much more reliable motor than the orignal M42. My M20 has certainly proven itself in that department (not a full MM motor, but I talked to jim before building it).

MMM, can you imagine a 4.0 low compression with a huge holset? Can you say torque monster?
