A few of these highcompression motors are around in NZ - The cars came badged as M325i from the factory (but not all M325i, got the high compression motor). When I was rebuilding my motor the high compression pistons were an option from the dealer.

Granted that is half a second faster than most people get from a standard 325is, I can see how it is feasible assuming it's a light car (close to 2500) with the right driver, considering the slightly stronger motor

just yo be cheeky but that run was with full car audio to!2 subs amps etc
my car has no air con fitted so that keeps the weight down and its the 2door which is a bit lighter to.

I have seen this thread before, but unfortunately a swapped car will not have an M42 in it. Unless it is a 2002 with an M42 but no one does that...

                              There ya go!!

But you DO know that in the reference frame of a bystander on the street, your stopwatch will be counting the seconds slower than his stopwatch that he is holding, so your times won't agree, even if you both started and stopped your stopwatches simultaneously, which of course can be a problem because simultaneity is also relative in different reference frames. Not only that, but your rest frame is non-inertial, so your measured time can't be the "proper time" anyway.

...So go ahead and take (approximately) 0.0000000000000000001 seconds off that time...
