Well this morning on the way to Auto-x, i met a a freind at waffle house. I was in the left lane and i was crusing the speedlimit as he pulled away into a big ball of overspray from his car tires ( it was wet and kind of rainy). Well as i started to slow down a little, people were getting on my *** fast, to i changed lanes to the slower right lane. As i chanegd lanes, i hit a patch of water and i felt my backend slide right from under me, when i felt the car starting to hydroplance, i slowly tapped the brakes so that i wouldnt lock them up. Well i corrected the cars spin going right then it jerked back over and the back end spun left, and i was completely backwards by the time i was in the grass. I was abotu a 1/4 mile from my exit, and the rightside of the interstate was at a slope. As i spun around twice i hit a sign infront of a concrete colvert head on, that that spun me around once again into the edge of the concrete. My back passenger tire went from normal looking, to turned 90 degrees inwards, so the wheel and tires was perpendicular to the car. i think total distance of spining was about 500 feet, i think i blacked out because people said i was spinnign forever. So the outcome, is i have a big dent in the front and its all out of wack. The back bumper was ripped off, and my back rear quarter pannel smashed in. The impact of the car into the concrete was so great that in my backglass the window tint slide slideways, keeping the glass intact (kinda weird, il have to get a pick.) I have liability on it, so il never see it again, i'l just most likely part it out.
All in all, my back is a little sore and i have a headache. i had on a 4pt race harness so i didnt move in the whole spinning ordeal. And to top it off i got a ticket for doing the speedlimit.
