No, you take cheap ass vodka and filter it through a Brita. After about 5 filtrations, the majoity of the impurities have been removed and you're left with pretty damn decent vodka.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

i don't care what the hell you try to do to 7 dollar vodka, you can't make it grey goose. all vodka tastes like nasty hairspray except for grey goose, imo. that's hilarious, thoughI retired my E30 for now...

For those of you who like the unique flavor of a Kettle One, Grey Goose, or other top shelf vodka, this is not a perfect substitute. However, this would be the perfect mixer vodka in my opinion.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

DSchultz, are you in college? If so you shouldnt be shocked like this. The vast majority of us (students) arent exactly worried about the taste.
This would be great for helping to prevent hangovers from 'Jungle Juice'. Not that I care much though, that is usually what the girls drink.Im now E30less.

vodka tastes like shit period anyone who says they drink it for taste is fucking lying. At parties, i wanna punch chicks in the face who make mixed drinks, pass em to their friends and their friends go, "MMM GOOD!" Dont kid yourself bitch, your drink tastes like coolaid with paint thinner mixed into it.Comment

This technique definately works. I heard about it earlier this semester so we tried it out with a handle of Mohawk and my friends Brita. Youd be shocked about how much better it really is.
And jungle juice isnt that bad, great way to play beruit and still get hammered like only hard alcohol can get you.Comment

How much do the Brita filters add up to? And what about the cost of your time. I've lost the ability to drink McCormicks or other cheap handles - shit is just nasty. I'm not in my first month of college anymore.
The solution: Burnett's Vodka, $8 a fifth. Half the cost of Smirnoff and frozen, just as smooth. (Or better than in my opinion)
"it's like candy" - - Brandon, independent reviewer.Burnett's Vodka uses an uncompromising production process of quadruple distillation and triple charcoal filtering to remove by-products from grain distillation. No other premium vodka—imported or domestic—exceeds the level of clarity, quality and smoothness found in Burnett's. As a result, it has consistently been one of the fastest growing brands in the category year in and year out.
I prefer it to Smirnoff, a good yardstick I believe. Perhaps that is because Smirnoff is only"Double distillation to ensure maximum quality, with a unique, patented, hardwood charcoal filtration process."

p.s. Rob, Burnett's is made by the same company as Fighting Cock, which you love.
Ask yourself if $12-13 for a handle is a deal, or $18.66 for a handle's worth of shit you can stand to drink (or even enjoy) is a better plan.Comment
