I just took some Potter's and filtered it through 5 times. I almost fucking puked during the 'non-filtered' taste test. But the filtered shit is like water now.

Balee Dat (yes, yes it does). The activated charcoal filter does nothing to the ethanol molecules.

            Any Cheap Vodka +This:

= Decent/cheap way to get trashed...

            Or the good ole:

So Ken this really works? might be worth a try. Once you filter vodka through the brita can you switch back to water?

Yes, yes it does. I did a trial run last night with about 4 shots and I was shocked how well it worked. I'm in the process of filtering a handle of Potter's right now. The only drawback is that it takes about 20-30 minutes to filter a litre of liquid.

I'd only recommend it if you enjoy Vodka flavored water. You pretty much have to get yourself a dedicated 'booze brita'.

Your statement might just be all too true.
I am another old timer. Oh, those were the days when you'd drink whatever you could get your hands on cheaply. We would drink some cheap Popov Vodka and just mix it with whatever we could to mask the taste. About 3 bucks a liter if I recall.

Now, I rarely drink Vodka. More of a Single Malt Scotch guy.

Can you just get five replacement filters and a large tube and make all the filtrations in one tube?

                    I don't see why not.

You could use a small pump and make a continuously flowing filter system. It would cost about $23 for pump, brita, and some hose. That would be badass

I think I recall them trying that on the site.

Or maybe I just had the same thought too.

What would be even easier would be stacking the white pitcher parts, and not having to "build" anything. But that would cost $75.......
