A new Brita pitcher with a filter is like $15 or so. I'd imagine you could probably filter about 5 handles worth before you'd have to change the filter. The cost of your time is however much you think you're worth lol. It'd take 2+ hours I'd presume to filter an entire handle of McCormicks or whatever the cheap distileries around your town are producing.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are. -

This would be great for helping to prevent hangovers from 'Jungle Juice'. Not that I care much though, that is usually what the girls drink.1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

I get grey goose for like $10... :POriginally posted by DSchultz325ei don't care what the hell you try to do to 7 dollar vodka, you can't make it grey goose. all vodka tastes like nasty hairspray except for grey goose, imo. that's hilarious, though
At least I get cheap alcohol here.. buahahaha.1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

Well, $15/5 = $3 to each handle, so maybe $15-16 per.Originally posted by kencopperwheatA new Brita pitcher with a filter is like $15 or so. And what about the cost of your time. I've lost the ability to drink McCormicks or other cheap handles - shit is just nasty. I'm not in my first month of college anymore.
2 hours of my time.....waiting to get drunk......for each handle distilled is priceless.
But I think we'll still do it here for the fun of it.
Anyone else think it just tased better in the experiment because they got drunker and it mattered less?Comment

A drink in a NYC lounge costs about 10-11 bucksComment

Per drink? I'm talking about per bottle...
50 cents for beer, sometimes cheaper. $4 for good rum, $12 for good scotch, $30 for good wine.

$16 for a handle of good mixer vodka is a damn good deal if you ask me.Originally posted by rwh11385Well, $15/5 = $3 to each handle, so maybe $15-16 per.

Yeah, it takes a long time so you've gotta do it the day before or so.
Some body actually asked about your last point and they said that each taste was only about 1/4 or a shot or so. And with 20 minutes in between each taste as well as some food, I'm sure they weren't getting drunk at all.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

Well, I'm saying Burnett's would be under $19 for 2 and a third fifths, ($24 for 3 fifths)......and a lot less trouble. I'd say $3 more for shit that goes down smooth and I don't have to do anything but drink it. Mixes well with Minute Maid. 8)
Okay. I just thought it would have been funnier if that was the reason it tasted better.
Sure as fuck makes the shitty food @ 2am diners taste good.

Robert, you should try it with the Burnett's. That shit is pretty brutal already. On a side note, you guys have cheap alcohol in IN... it's a couple bucks more per fifth in Oregon, we have some of the highest taxes on alcohol in the US.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
