yeah i mean i plan to swap it when i get the money. probably not an m20, but i was just saying since you were telling me to hold off until i found an i. did you see the car at all? http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/1322296354.htmlComment

I'd get it. 5 lug swapped and artistically cared for by a previous owner makes it a good deal. Most people who hate on E's are plain pricks. You get so much torque, and the only downfall of one is it's diff. Throw a 3.73 in a E, and you got yourself one of the most fun daily drivers ever. Not to mention shit ton of miles per table spoon to help you save money on eventual swap.
Also read that post about not pulling triggers on impulse. Check that car out and make sure whatever was done to it was done right and negotiate. You should be able to park that car at home for around $1500.Comment

It's not 5 lug swapped, they just used adapters. Nobody's hating on etas, but they're by no means quick in a straight line; I'd much rather have a 25i (that's one thing I DID hold out for) and they're really not that much more expensive, not to mention typically newer.I'd get it. 5 lug swapped and artistically cared for by a previous owner makes it a good deal. honestly, the eta's only have 4lb/ft more torque than an I. All this talk about it being a torque monster is BS. Yes it has more torque than hp, but that is just the eta owner's excuse for not having an I
. Roughly the same amount of torque, but more Hp, with an I, and a higher revving engine. You do the math..

it's 6 ft*lb and it's more than 1000 rpm sooner ;)honestly, the eta's only have 4lb/ft more torque than an I. All this talk about it being a torque monster is BS. Yes it has more torque than hp, but that is just the eta owner's excuse for not having an I

You still have to wind out the b25 in order to see that torque though (kind of sparse until 4k or so). The eta has a lot more low-end and midrange, whereas the b25 has the high-end.honestly, the eta's only have 4lb/ft more torque than an I. All this talk about it being a torque monster is BS. Yeah... but the b25 is much quicker over all. That's just the nature of like 50hp.
Torque might be nice around town but there is nothing like ripping around corners at 5000rpm. Something an ETA can't do.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.
